"Quicksand Decoded"

This paper introduces a novel electromagnetic model explaining quicksand dynamics through the collapse of Magnetic Information Density (MID) coherence, governed by the Wilcox Constant (κ). Moving beyond classical mechanical views, it posits that quicksand liquefaction occurs when electric energy density exceeds magnetic pressure thresholds, causing rapid magnetic formatting collapse in granular media. The framework unifies terrestrial quicksand phenomena with cosmic-scale collapses like black holes under a single, testable electromagnetic principle. Natural triggers such as triboelectric charging and piezoelectric effects provide mechanisms for collapse initiation. Experimental designs are proposed to validate the model, including ferrofluid doping and field sensor arrays. This work advances a field-centric ontology where magnetic coherence loss defines granular failure and entropy, offering transformative insights into geophysics and fundamental physics alike. ---

Abstract
