Measuring Coral Skeletal Protein Across Depth and Structures

This research project examines the skeletal protein content of the coral Oculina arbuscula. This data is then compared with a greater dataset containing information about density, porosity, and other measures of skeletal complexity. The results are then divided by the depth the coral samples were taken from (shallow vs. deep).

Abstract

This research project examines the skeletal protein content of the coral Oculina arbuscula. This data is then compared with a greater dataset containing information about density, porosity, and other measures of skeletal complexity. The results are then divided by the depth the coral samples were taken from (shallow vs. deep).
