Basie concept for development of dye sensitized solar cells
The human life quality is greatly affected by the availability of energy. Renewable energy sourcesuch as solar energy is considered as a feasible alternative source for present day energyrequirement. Among first and second generation silicon semiconductor cadmium telluride, copperand indium selenide/sulfide, these have been the subject of intensive research work for the lastthree decades. The present article deals about the advantages and future aspects of dye sensitizedsolar cells as new generation energy resources with cost, easy fabrication and environment friendlynature.
