Automated Adaptive Resonance Control for High-Efficiency GaN Power Supply Units
**Abstract:** This paper presents a novel control architecture for gallium nitride (GaN) power supply units (PSUs) leveraging Automated Adaptive Resonance Theory (AART) for significantly enhanced efficiency and transient response. Current control methods often struggle to maintain optimal performance across the wide input voltage and load variations inherent in modern power systems. AART dynamically identifies and adapts to transient conditions, enabling near-optimal control parameters in real-time. The proposed system achieves a projected 5-10% improvement in overall efficiency and a 2x reduction in transient settling time compared to traditional feedback control methods, paving the way for more efficient and responsive GaN PSUs in high-power applications.
