Supporting AI practitioners in developing transparent information to deployers in High-Risk Systems as per AI Act.

This 45-minute interactive co-design session brings together UX experts and AI practitioners to collaboratively explore early-stage prototypes for communicating mandatory information under the EU AI Act to deployers of high-risk AI systems. Building on human-centered explainable AI and insights from usable security and privacy, participants will develop and critique workflows and interface concepts that address real-world user needs. The goal is to generate actionable design input for making legally required information more comprehensible, relevant, and usable.

Abstract

This 45-minute interactive co-design session brings together UX experts and AI practitioners to collaboratively explore early-stage prototypes for communicating mandatory information under the EU AI Act to deployers of high-risk AI systems. Building on human-centered explainable AI and insights from usable security and privacy, participants will develop and critique workflows and interface concepts that address real-world user needs. The goal is to generate actionable design input for making legally required information more comprehensible, relevant, and usable.
