Optimized Integration of IoT to Reduce Latency in Multi-Cloud through Fog Computing

ABSTRACT In the modern digital era, effective network communication is vital, and the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, and fog computing play an important role in our daily lives. The goal of fog computing is to expedite and reduce the latency of data transfers to the cloud for storage, processing, and analysis. Due to the heterogeneous and large number of IoT devices, IoT integration and task scheduling are the main trickiest problems in the multicloud computing environment. The main goals of IoT optimization through fog computing are to minimize the overall time required to finish all input activities, identify which resources are needed to schedule a specific task on time, and make better use of the available resources. This work also presents latency utilizing the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) with other essential protocols to demonstrate performance evaluation at various IoT nodes and bit counts. Delay quality used on CloudSim successfully achieves overall analysis performance. Through the proposed architecture analysis, it has been found that the MQTT protocols function best for IoT integration through fog computing over multi-cloud. The empirical results show the efficacy of the proposed architecture.
