Childhood Domestic Violence: A Scope Review of its Impact on Child and Adolescent Development
Scoping review to map domestic violence against children and how it impacts child and adolescent development. The protocol will follow the method proposed by the Joanna Briggs Institute and the PRISMA-ScR Checklist guidelines. Searches will be conducted in the following databases: PubMed, LILACS, CINAHL, Embase, SCOPUS, Web of Science, COCHRANE, Google Scholar, and Open Grey. The articles resulting from the search will first be imported into the reference manager EndNote Web to remove duplicates. They will then be exported to the second reference manager, Rayyan QCRI, where they will undergo another duplicate analysis. Subsequently, the title and abstract of each study will be independently assessed by two blinded reviewers. In cases where there is disagreement between the two reviewers, a third reviewer will make the final decision regarding the inclusion or exclusion of the study in question. Data will be extracted using a standardized form. The results will be grouped, synthesized, and presented descriptively, supported by tables, figures, and graphs.
