Secrets: An Intersection of Photographic and Cinematic Storytelling
Secrets, the MFA thesis exhibition of Andrew Jorgensen, places a short narrative film (The Secret Lives of Our Parents) and documentary photography (Houses of Secrets) in conversation with each other to address the importance of context. In the midst of this dialogue, Secrets asks viewers to question their understanding of truth, and the role of the image in its portrayal. This exhibition was displayed as a one night only event in the Johnson Center Cinema at George Mason University on November 22, 2024.
