The deed of the collective farm peasantry during the Great Patriotic War in the works of Russian artists
Rural life often attracts the attention of artists born in the countryside, and the heroes of their paintings are ordinary people living nearby - friends, neighbors etc. However, despite the recognizability of their characters, the artists aim to create figurative types-symbols embodying the main features of the national character.
