Impact Rise of Artificial Intelligence in the Field of Radiology

Artificial intelligence (AI) has a lot to offer radiology in terms of patient care, efficiency, anddiagnostic precision. Since switching from film-based procedures to digital systems like PACS, radiologyhas embraced AI technology; nevertheless, clinical implementation is still limited due to validationconcerns. The benefits of artificial intelligence (AI), which speed up operations and increase diagnosticconfidence, are illustrated in this study. Better image classification, segmentation, 3D modelling, andquicker analysis are some of these benefits. However, issues including justification, validation datasets, alack of guidelines, and privacy concerns persist. We examine the uses of AI in radiation dose optimization, brain tumor classification, neurological issue identification, and breast cancer diagnosis to highlight itsdisruptive potential. Future advancements in the field of medical imaging will need to address ethical, regulatory, and training challenges in order to improve patient care and bring about a revolutionarytransformation in the industry.
