The Iran–Israel 2025 Conflict: An Ownviewist Perspective on Escalation, Regional Dynamics, and Governance Implications
This research examines the 2025 Iran–Israel conflict within the broader context of seven Middle Eastern and global power blocs—Iran, Israel, the West, Russia, China, Political Islam, and the Arab World—through a pioneering Ownviewist framework. It integrates structural, normative, and cognitive dimensions to link internal bloc dynamics with inter-bloc outcomes, offering insights into escalation patterns, military strategies, and regional governance implications. The study applies Power Chain Analysis (PCA) to map multi-layered power networks, Triple Time Track Multi-Layer Multiple Round (2T2M) to track temporal alignments and contradictions, and Peace Conflict Programming alongside the Ring of Peace to generate actionable peacebuilding strategies. The approach bridges theory and policy, providing governance-oriented, theoretically robust, and policy-relevant perspectives on Middle Eastern rivalries. This dataset/article is intended for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners interested in conflict analysis, regional security, and peacebuilding.
