RESEARCH SIGNIFICANTLY CONTRIBUTES TO THE ACHIEVEMENT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
This study evaluates the crucial role research plays in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), using data obtained from secondary sources. It explores varying perspectives from scholars and stakeholders on how research contributes to sustainable development. With sustainability becoming a critical global concern—championed by organizations such as the UN, UNESCO, UNEP, and IISD—the relevance of research is emphasized as not merely academic but a practical necessity that evolves with time. The study concludes that research remains a pivotal driver in addressing global challenges and facilitating the achievement of the SDGs.
