What Can Emotion Words Tell Us about Affective Experience across Cultures?

The meaning and scope of emotional terms vary across languages, and even within different regions of the same country, reflecting cultural influences on language structure. It is important to study emotional expression in a cross-cultural context to gain a better understanding of the interaction between language and culture.
