DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION TRENDS OF ORGANIZATIONS IN THE NORTHERN REGIONS OF RUSSIA

The article is devoted to the study of the processes of digital transformation of organizations in the northern regions of Russia, identifying the problems of this transformation. The author emphasizes the special importance of the north of the country due to difficult economic conditions and low level of infrastructure development. Analyzing statistical data for the period 2015–2023, the author notes a significant reduction in the number of business entities, deterioration of their technical equipment, a decrease in the share of organizations using high-speed Internet. Despite the negative trends, the popularity of cloud services used by organizations to optimize business processes and improve information security is increasing. The results of the analysis can form the basis for the development of state strategic documents aimed at improving the business environment and increasing the competitiveness of organizations.
