Agent-Based Simulation Model of the Behavior of Interacting Enterprises of a Multi-Industry Model of an Economic Sector in AnyLogic

The article presents an approach to modeling a multi-agent socio-economic system of inter-industry market interactions, whose feature is the method of making a decision on a transaction by agents and calculating the total utility function of the system using the AnyLogic system. The developed agent-based model allows us to study trade interactions within the industry under various parameters of the external environment. A special feature of the proposed approach is a detailed method of simulating multiple interactions between agents with the calculation of the expediency of each transaction, which is implemented by market mechanism for concluding transactions and following calculation of the value of the total utility function of the studied multi-agent socio-economic system, expressed as the number of transactions. Numerical experiments were carried out using the method of varying the values of the control parameters and important dependencies between the main initial parameters and the target utility function were identified.
