Product and process innovations in the Russian chemical industry

The paper presents an analysis of product and process innovations in the chemical industry of Russia, a coefficient is calculated showing the ratio of these innovations. In the chemical industry, as in manufacturing, product innovation prevails, but the trend of growth in the share of organizations carrying out such innovations is unstable. The highest value of the coefficient characterizing product and process innovations is noted in the production of rubber and plastic products, and the growth rate of this coefficient is in the production of chemicals and chemical products.
