Optimization of Rice Distribution Routes of Perum Bulog Medan Branch with Floyd-Warshall Algorithm

The Floyd-Warshall algorithm is an algorithm that takes the minimum path from one point to another, which can be used to calculate the shortest path of a weighted graph. This thesis aims to determine the optimal route of distribution of commercial rice with the brand “BerasKita” from Bulog Pulo Brayan Darat I warehouse to Pangkalan in East Medan District. Determination of the optimal route is based on three criteria, namely distance, congestion and road damage. Data collection in this study was obtained directly from the research location and Google Maps. From the data obtained, it is arranged into a graph. Furthermore, from the graph, the optimal path is obtained by iterating as many nodes using the Floyd-Warshall algorithm. Based on the research results, it is concluded that the optimal path is starting from the warehouse Bulog Pulo Brayan Darat I, Jl. Mustafa → Jl. Bono → E-Warong di Jl. Bono → Jl. Bono → Jl. The final score of the three indicators obtained using the Floyd-Warshall Algorith in the East Medan District, is 132.461, which is smaller than the final score of the path used previously with a weighting score of 138.166.
