Font as a factor of digital sovereignty

The article discusses the issues related to the development and use of domestic fonts. There are many studies dedicated to the influence of fonts on text perception, as well as on the sales of goods and services when choosing a font for advertising. To this day, the main types of fonts used for working with documents, websites, and software development tools are as follows: serif fonts (antiqua or serif), sans serif fonts (grotesque or sans serif), and monospace fonts, which simplify work on computers in text mode, particularly in software development environments. Some fonts are tied to specific languages or functions of address. For instance, when reading long texts, instructions, or contracts, it is better to use a serif font, as it does not cause quick fatigue. Conversely, if the goal is to discourage a person from reading the entire proposed text, a sans serif font is recommended. The article illustrates how fonts are connected to the country's information security system.
