Atomic-scale B-site deficiency stabilizes enhanced thermoelectric properties of calcium manganese oxides

A strong vacancy compensation mechanism was developed. The twin-boundary shear and several lattice defects were nucleated. A low κ lat value of 1.14 W m −1 K −1 was observed at 1073 K.
