Application of Transportation Methods to Find Optimal Distribution Costs

Transportation method is a method used for sources and sources that provideresources - points of interest that require to achieve cost efficiency. Thisresearch was conducted at PT. Arta Boga Cemerlang Cabang Meulaboh whichis engaged in the distribution of fertilizers. The purpose of this study is tominimize the cost of fertilizer distribution on at PT. Arta Boga CemerlangCabang Meulaboh with the North West Corner initial Method and the LeastCost Method and the optimal Stepping Stone Method and the ModifiedDistribution Method. From the calculation results of the total costs obtained,the at PT. Arta Boga Cemerlang Cabang can save costs by 9,03%.
