Validation of the Oriented Hysteresis Theorem in the Photon Matrix Model
This paper presents a rigorous experimental proposal to validate the Oriented Hysteresis Theorem of the Photon Matrix Model. The theorem predicts that hysteresis loop orientation remains fixed and does not change with ramp rate, while loop width and transition points may shift. The experiment uses VO₂ thin films subjected to controlled thermal ramps, with measurements taken through X-ray absorption spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. Observables include energy centroids, branching ratios, and structural peak positions, which are projected into loop space for analysis. Orientation is quantified by directional consistency across cycles, with robustness ensured by controls such as TiO₂, W-doped VO₂, and reversed ramp sequences. Acceptance requires loop orientation to remain invariant across rates with high directional consistency, while a rate-induced orientation flip would falsify the model. This proposal provides a direct, falsifiable test of the Photon Matrix Model’s collapse-entropy arrow in a condensed-matter system.
