THE ROLE OF INTERNATIONAL LEGAL ACTS IN THE FIELD OF THE ELIMINATION OF FORCED LABOR
The use of forced labor, known since ancient times, in modern conditions poses a significant threat to the integrity of the individual, his constitutional rights, honor and dignity. Despite the legal prohibition of the use, of forced and other forms of labor in many countries, the international community has repeatedly expressed its concern about the active spread of such practices. Currently, forced labor is not limited to exploiting a person's labor potential without his consent under threat of punishment. Widespread market relations have created a solid foundation for the development of forms of forced labor that are diverse in their content – bonded labor, sexual slavery, domestic labor, forced labor in agriculture, etc. In this regard, the issues of legal regulation of the eradication of these forms of forced labor, including at the international level, are becoming increasingly relevant.
