Technical report

The SIAMUS project (Integrated System for the Analysis of Sustainable Urban Mobility) aims to provide data and indicators for sustainable urban mobility based on the experience of Pin Bike, the patented system for the certification and gamification of active and sustainable mobility. This deliverable C.1 contains a comprehensive technical report with an analysis of the summary data of the projects analysed, including in-depth studies based on case studies. The aim is to examine the main characteristics derived from sustainable mobility initiatives, providing an overview of the results obtained and the best practices that have emerged. In synergy with the impact assessment models (Deliverable C.2), this technical report will form the basis for the development of guidelines for public and private policy makers (Deliverable D.1), the result of Activity D. This deliverable C.1 is mainly aimed at the scientific community, in order to provide useful information to policy makers, serving as a tool to support the analysis and design of interventions in the field of sustainable mobility and spatial planning. For scholars, the report offers a methodological and comparative basis for exploring the relationships between socio-demographic indicators, territorial factors and mobility policies, as well as a series of empirical case studies that can be used in further research. For decision-makers, it is an operational guide to interpreting the results of the initiatives analysed, providing concrete ideas and good practices that can be replicated in other contexts. Outside the scope of the project, the contents of the deliverable can be applied in areas such as urban planning. SIAMUS was funded by the Italian National Plan for Recovery and Resilience. Abstract
