THE IMPACT OF SALARY LEVELS ON STAFF MOTIVATION AND PRODUCTIVITY

The article analyzes the impact of salary levels on staff motivation and productivity in Russian book publishing in 2025. According to statistics, the average salary in the industry increased by 8,5%, which reduced staff turnover and increased productivity by 5,7%. Problems in the incentive system have been identified: uneven rewards and insufficient adaptation of motivational mechanisms. A comprehensive HR management model combining tangible and intangible incentives is proposed. The results of the study will help improve the HR policy of publishers in the context of digitalization.
