Impacto de las tecnologías de energía renovable en la mitigación del cambio climático: una revisión de literatura de los últimos 5 Años

This study analyzed the impact of renewable energy technologies on climate change mitigation through a literature review covering 30 scientific articles published between 2020 and 2024. The results were organized into three stages, highlighting technologies such as hydropower, solar photovoltaic, wind energy, green hydrogen, and bioenergy. Hydropower was identified as the technology with the highest installed capacity and emission reduction, while green hydrogen and algae biofuels showed high potential for decarbonizing industrial sectors. However, the efficiency of technologies such as solar photovoltaic remains limited, underscoring the need for technological advancements. The conclusions indicate that the success of renewable energies depends on a diversified matrix, effective public policies, and environmental education. This study provides a basis for future research and energy transition strategies.
