Análisis de la IA chatGPT en el Aprendizaje de los Estudiantes de la Carrera de Educación Básica Presencial de la Universidad Central del Ecuador

Artificial Intelligence is a technological tool, which has raised questions about whether it is useful or invalid in the learning process of students. The objective of the present research is to analyse the use of AI chat GPT in university students of the Basic Education course at the Universidad Central del Ecuador. The methodology adapted is a quantitative approach, cross-sectional descriptive design, based on a sample of 300 students, selected by simple random sampling. In addition, data collection techniques such as the survey were used. Finally, the results show that there is a casual use of GPT chat by students, also, the vast majority of individuals adopted a neutral stance on the development of critical thinking skills, likewise, it favours the understanding of complex issues, and will have an important role within Higher Education.
