Las Inserciones Curriculares como Enfoque Transformador en el contexto educativo ecuatoriano

Curricular insertions are adaptations made to the educational curriculum to address certain social and cultural needs and allow students to connect with both the content and their environment. One of the problems often evident in the educational context is the lack of connection between the curriculum and the reality in which the students operate. This means that the curriculum must be readjusted to develop skills that allow students to face the challenges of their daily lives. In this context, this review article aims to analyze curricular insertions as a transformative approach in the Ecuadorian educational context. To this end, descriptive documentary research with a qualitative approach was used, employing analytical-synthetic and deductive methods. Based on the methodology employed, it was concluded that curricular insertions could positively transform the Ecuadorian educational context, since: It provides guidelines for teachers to educate students holistically, developing critical skills that prepare them for real-life situations.
