Artificial Intelligence is currently a tool that is promoting development in various areas of human beings from education to research, likewise, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is one of the mental health conditions that requires identification of its possible symptoms in advance, the present research has the purpose of generating feasible items through artificial intelligence that are adaptable to a Likert scale, for the measurement of the symptoms of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), based on the guide of the diagnostic criteria of the DSM-5 ”. With a qualitative research approach obtaining a total of 42 items that in its continuation a total of 50 items are obtained to subject them to next pertinent analysis, it can be concluded that derived from the type of research and the needs, these items should be considered to go through a validation process that allows to find an acceptance so that they are functional for the creation of an instrument to measure generalized anxiety, it is also found that the IAG is a tool that allows to favor the creation of items for instruments, but that These are geared toward the interests of users who require them for different types of research.
