TIC al servicio de la formación integral humana: redefiniendo competencias, convivencia y educación sexual en la era digital
The article examines the impact of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) on human integral development, particularly in sexual education, school coexistence, and the development of skills in the digital age. Through a systematic review of 40 academic references, it explores how ICTs influence learning, promote social interaction, and foster critical citizenship. It highlights that the proper use of these technological tools can significantly enhance teaching but also presents risks, particularly regarding unregulated access to inappropriate content about sexuality. In this regard, sexual education in the digital environment must go beyond information about anatomy, integrating respect, equity, and consent, as well as the responsible use of digital platforms. The article emphasizes the importance of training teachers in digital and pedagogical skills to implement an educational model that promotes democratic, inclusive, and critical values while ensuring the ethical use of ICTs in the educational process. Comprehensive sexual education must be addressed collaboratively between educational institutions, governments, and families to ensure a safe and healthy environment for young people in the digital world.
