Déconstruction des stéréotypes raciaux : Analyse de la série télévisée En Place de Jean-Pascal Zadi.
The TV show En Place by Jean-Pascal Zadi uses all types of stereotypes and discrimination against non-White people and discredits them with humor and sarcasm. From there, the main character manages to climb the social ladder: from growing up in a sensitive neighborhood to becoming the next French President, far from the roles traditionally assigned to non-White people by White society. He employs multiple strategies in the dialogues, as well as through non-verbal actions, such as references to Black culture, Frantz Fanon and others Black references. The show is rooted in comedic patterns, but it offers a new way of representing Black people on French TV. It provides a space for recognition, the deconstruction of social hierarchy, identity construction, a claim for equality, and the shaping of an inclusive society and a model of success for viewers.
