Understanding Adaptation of Place-Based Interventions (PBIs) for Addressing Health Inequities in Deprived Areas through implementation science frameworks: A Scoping review
This study aims to understand the adaptation process for implementing PBIS in the context of deprived areas. Our study will also help to understand the extent of the adaptation needed and the impact of contextual factors on the process. The main objectives are 1. To identify and analyse necessary adaptations when implementing Place-Based Incentives (PBIS) across diverse community contexts. 2. To determine the specific types of adaptations required for PBIS to address health equity and reduce disparities in vulnerable populations. 3. To evaluate the effectiveness of implementation science strategies and frameworks in assessing place-based interventions for adaptation for vulnerable populations in deprived areas. Expected outcomes Identify the implementation science frameworks used to assess and capture adaptation in place-based interventions. Assessment of the usability of the frameworks in place-based interventions Assessment of the adaptation measures for various contexts
