Ultrafast Detection of Quantized Collapse Time in the Photon Matrix Model

This paper presents an experimental proposal to test the Photon Matrix Model prediction that time progresses in discrete steps. The experiment uses ultrafast pump probe spectroscopy of vanadium dioxide during its insulator to metal transition, with titanium dioxide and tungsten doped vanadium dioxide as controls. The goal is to detect periodic echoes in the relaxation dynamics that would indicate quantized time. Results will provide a direct and falsifiable test of the model.

Abstract

This paper presents an experimental proposal to test the Photon Matrix Model prediction that time progresses in discrete steps. The experiment uses ultrafast pump probe spectroscopy of vanadium dioxide during its insulator to metal transition, with titanium dioxide and tungsten doped vanadium dioxide as controls. The goal is to detect periodic echoes in the relaxation dynamics that would indicate quantized time. Results will provide a direct and falsifiable test of the model.
