Computational discovery and experimental validation of high-refractive-index HfS2 nanoresonators

This data set includes the raw data used to produce all the plots in the "Computational discovery and experimental validation of high-refractive-index HfS2 nanoresonators" manuscript. HfS2_optical_constants.txt contains the ellipsometric measurements of HfS2's refractive index as well as extinction coefficient. They are used to produce Figures 1 and 2B. HfS2_DFT.txt contains the theoretical DFT data used to produce Figure 2B. Figure3.zip contains three .mat files and two folders: oxidation.mat, which contains the data used for C and D; oxidationReflection.mat, which contains the data needed to produce E; and oxidation_lab.mat, which contains the data needed to produce F. Then, the two folders contain all the rawData used to produce the .mat files: Data1 (used for images C, D and E) and Data2 (used for F). Figure4.zip contains three folders: AFM, which contains all the AFM data needed to produce panels D and E; Optical_images, which contains an optical image from where panel B is a part; and SEM, which contains an SEM image where panel C has been cropped from. Figure5.zip contains a .mat file and two folders. ComsolCrossSections.mat contains the data obtained via Comsol simulations to produce panel A; the ExperimentalDarkField folder contains all the data required to reproduce panel B; and the Spectra_oxidation folder has all the data used to make panel C. Encapsulation.zip contains all the data needed to reproduce the spectra shown in Fig. S5. The data is sorted in three different folders, which correspond to the dates at which the data was recorded. The name of the files are self-explanatory.
