The total number of staff at the Nigerian Gas Company wasfour hundred and eighty (480). Taro Yamane’s formula was used to determine the sample size of two hundred and eighteen (218). Data obtained were analysed with the use of linear regression. We found components of gas emission such as oxides of nitrogen, carbon and sulphur, hydrocarbons and ash, hydrogen sulphide, and photochemical oxidants with negative effect on the environment, economic, and human health. It was also found that flare stack, safety shutdown system and emergency depressurization system are enabler for environmental conservation.
