The Great Farm: A Critical Metaphor on Power Structures and Spiritual Condition in the Contemporary World

This article introduces the metaphor of the Great Farm as a critical tool to analyze power structures and spiritual condition in the contemporary world. Drawing on an interdisciplinary approach — including critical sociology (Marx, Bourdieu, Foucault), political philosophy (Debord, Han), and biblical theology (John 10; Luke 4:6; Revelation 13) — the work explores how different social groups can be symbolically understood as cattle (the masses), donkeys (intellectuals), horses (celebrities and elites), workers (governments and billionaires), the farm owner (Satan), the cat (the awakened), and the sheep (the faithful). The purpose is to invite readers to critically reflect on their own position within this “farm” and on the dynamics of power, alienation, and spiritual hope.
