Pure Time Thery - Chapter III: Light as Revealer - Photons, 4D Geometry and Spatial Navigation in PTT
Chapter III: Light as Revealer - Photons, 4D Geometry and Spatial Navigation in Pure Time Theory This volume fundamentally reframes the physics of light through Pure Time Theory (PTT), beginning with the widely observed but poorly explained phenomenon of insect spiral flight around artificial lights. We demonstrate that photons are not elementary particles but 4D excitations of the type-1 substrate, generated by compulsory energy discharge from processes in differentiated matter. The "vacuum" emerges as an active medium where observable space represents the 3D projection of a 4D spiral expansion, with photonic propagation constituting geodesic surfing on that substrate. A phenomenological wave taxonomy separates electromagnetic waves (4D substrate excitations constrained to expansion geodesics) from mechanical waves (3D perturbations of material media). Wave-particle duality reduces to dimensional projection, with optical interference patterns reinterpreted as 3D projections of geodesic family weaving. We derive an optical metric g^opt with scene fields δβ (isotropic tension departure) and Π (traceless anisotropy tensor) that are geometric properties, not tunable constants. The framework explains insect behavior as biological 4D detection: compound eyes sample polarization (Stokes parameters), transverse phase gradients, and wavefront curvature to extract navigation-grade geodesic bearings. This yields characteristic convergent spirals around near sources and straight-line navigation under distant illumination. Laboratory protocols test parameter-free predictions including orientation-controlled double-slit corrections, polarization-resolved interference lattices, and weak mass-loading effects on coherence. Beyond phenomenology, we outline biomimetic directions for 4D substrate sensors and geodesic navigation systems. The work establishes optics as experimental geometry of a real 4D substrate, where familiar phenomena—from interference to animal flight—serve as probes of the cosmos' hidden structure. This transforms our understanding of light from particle or wave to revealer of fundamental cosmic architecture.
