The Physics of Mind: A Computational Psychoanalytic Framework Grounded in the ICCF Unified Field Theory
We propose a unified physical framework of the psyche, derived from the Informational Causality and Compression Field (ICCF) Theory. Within this formulation, the human mind is modeled as an Informational Integration Entity (IIE) — an open thermodynamic system whose state C(t) evolves under dual potentials: Freudian inertia (past-driven dynamics), encoded by the environmental potential V(C)=Lenv. Adlerian teleology (future-driven dynamics), encoded by the goal functional Φ(C). The resulting dynamical law, unifies psychoanalytic theory with non-equilibrium statistical physics, revealing that trauma, resilience, free will, and meaning emerge as natural consequences of entropy-driven bifurcations in informational compression dynamics. Key theoretical contributions include: A Lyapunov stability criterion for psychological resilience. Stochastic resonance as a mechanism for overcoming trauma. A classification of personality types via Jacobian spectra. Civilizational dynamics modeled through coupled ICCF equations, yielding a predictive condition for survival against the Great Filter. A rigorous characterization of free will as an entropic phase transition, combining Hopf and Landau bifurcations. The ICCF framework thus establishes the foundation for a computational psychoanalysis: a physics-based discipline bridging psychology, neuroscience, control theory, and cosmology. Beyond individual cognition, it predicts collective phenomena such as meaning crises and civilizational collapse, providing both diagnostic tools and experimental protocols (e.g., the ICCF Turing Test) to empirically probe the thermodynamics of consciousness.
