Phytochemical Screening, Antimicrobial and Antioxidant Activity of Bark Extract of Ficus benghalensis L

The present study investigated the phytochemical composition, antimicrobial activity, and
antioxidant potential of bark extracts of Ficus benghalensis L. collected from Visakhapatnam
district, Andhra Pradesh, India. The bark was extracted using acetone, methanol, and aqueous
solvents through soxhlet extraction, and preliminary phytochemical screening was conducted
using standard protocols.
