Research on improving urban transportation efficiency in northern China under the sharing economy model
This study focuses on the dual mission of northern Chinese cities in Sino-Russian cooperation under the background of global value chain reconstruction. It innovatively introduces Sino-Russian cross-border logistics data as an exogenous variable to construct a coupling coordination model of sharing economy and traffic efficiency. Using spatial econometric methods, this study quantitatively analyzes the effect of emerging industries such as shared bicycles and online car-hailing on improving urban commuting efficiency, and explores the constraint mechanism of cold climate characteristics and institutional environment on technology diffusion. The study found that shared travel can significantly improve urban traffic efficiency and reduce peak congestion index; Sino-Russian cross-border data flow has a significant spatial spillover effect on urban traffic efficiency; government regulation intensity and sharing economy development have an inverted U-shaped relationship. The results provide a transportation economic policy toolbox for the construction of the northern channel of the Belt and Road Initiative, help northern cities solve the problem of traffic congestion and cope with cross-border logistics pressure, and promote the sustainable development of the sharing economy in cold cities.
