O Paraná diante do Comércio Exterior: Uma compreensão mediada pela Divisão Internacional do Trabalho (DIT) (2000-2022)
This study aimed to examine, via the lens of foreign trade, the conditions of Paraná's productive structure between 2000 and 2022. Methodologically, a bibliographic and documentary review approach was adopted, grounded in dialectical analysis. The results revealed that the opening of external markets for local enterprises corresponded to heightened demand for products and services. Presently, 221 municipalities are engaged in export dynamics, with particular prominence accorded to Paranaguá, Curitiba, Maringá, Ponta Grossa, and São José dos Pinhais. Moreover, the pronounced fragmentation within the international division of labor, as mediated by the productive value circuit, has fostered a symbiotic relationship between local enterprises and global economic conditions. In this manner, production circuits and specific locales are deeply interconnected on an international scale, engendering relative differentials among companies engaged in the global market. Consequently, the spatial configuration of productivity exerts a discernible impact on the regional economy; nevertheless, within this dynamic, inherent contradictions pertaining to Paraná's socioeconomic development become apparent.
