Quantum Semodynamics: A Field-Theoretic Framework for Meaning, Coherence, and Psycho-Physical Dynamics
This paper introduces Quantum Semodynamics (QSD), a physics-inspired gauge theory that models meaning as a dynamic, conserved field. QSD provides a testable formalism to bridge the long-standing gap between psychology and physics, first explored by Wolfgang Pauli and Carl Jung. The theory is built on a U(1) gauge symmetry, where a system’s coherence charge (q_c) determines its coupling to a meaning field (\mathcal{M}_\mu). We present the core field equations, derived from a unified Lagrangian, which include a Co-Actualization Operator to model the active role of conscious alignment in modulating psycho-physical dynamics. The framework yields specific, falsifiable predictions for a range of phenomena, including inter-brain synchrony, placebo effects, and narrative integrity. We propose concrete experimental protocols—such as hyperscanning EEG, narrative-based Wilson loops, and QRNG coupling—bolstered by a rigorous statistical analysis plan, sensitivity analyses, and explicit ethical safeguards. QSD offers a mathematically-grounded and empirically-falsifiable path toward a quantitative science of consciousness and meaning.
