Enhanced Defoaming Efficiency in Acrylic Emulsion Paints via Dynamic Molecular Aggregation Control using Bio-Inspired Surfactant Blends and Real-Time Rheological Feedback
**Abstract:** Conventional defoamers in acrylic emulsion paints often exhibit limitations in long-term effectiveness and maintain desired rheological properties. This paper introduces a novel approach leveraging bio-inspired surfactant blends coupled with real-time rheological feedback to dynamically control molecular aggregation and maximize defoaming efficiency. We propose a system that combines a strategically optimized blend of silicone and non-silicone surfactants with a feedback loop based on continuous monitoring of the paint’s rheological behavior. This enables precise adjustment of defoamer dosage and blend ratio, resulting in superior foam control, improved pigment stability, and enhanced overall paint performance, ready for immediate commercial application. --- *This document is a part of the Freederia Research Archive.
