Jabón líquido con aceite esencial de romero (Rosmarinus officialis l.): Una alternativa natural para el cuidado de las manos.

Hands play a crucial role in the transmission of different types of diseases and infections, not only in hospital and health environments but also in sectors such as food industries and in daily life in general. It is estimated that hands are the main transmitters of pathogens including viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms that can cause diseases; The main objective of this research was the production of liquid soap based on rosemary essential oil, using fresh raw material that is wasted in different places in the province of El Oro, thus seeking a second life with the aim of reducing the environmental impact and optimizing the use of products made naturally. The analyzes carried out gave results such as PH 6.86 NTE INEN 3167:2019/ Electrometry, Total alkalinity 0.00 NTE INEN 821:1987/ Volumetry, Density 1.0382 Pearson / Pycnometer, Viscosity 4.40 USP/Brookfield-Capillary viscometer, complying with Ecuadorian regulations for soaps. In addition, a survey was carried out on a small sensory tasting group, yielding results such as global approval, standing out for its aroma and viscosity. This project not only offers a sustainable and natural alternative, but also contributes to the development of innovative products that help care for the environment.
