Coautoria internacional em artigos científicos: uma análise na produção intelectual dos programas de pós-graduação no campo das Engenharias da Universidade Federal da Bahia

The objective was to survey the countries that have co-authorship relations in postgraduate programs in the field of Engineering at Universidade Federal da Bahia, through co-authorship presented in scientific articles by professors-researchers indexed in the Web of Science. Due to the characteristics of the study, this research is characterized as descriptive, bibliographic, with quantitative approach, originating from metric studies of information. The universe of this research consists of a total of 249 articles indexed in the WoS database, published between 2013 and 2022. Regarding countries with co-authorship relations, it is noted that Europe is the continent that most collaborated with all the postgraduate programs in the field of Engineering that were investigated. Of the European countries with co-authorship activity in advanced Engineering postgraduate programs, Spain was the only one present in the co-authorship networks of all postgraduate programs. Other countries on the European continent also stood out, mainly England, Portugal, Netherlands and Germany. Finally, it is observed that there is a need to expand studies on the internationalization of postgraduate programs in the field of Engineering, through analyzes of other productions, such as scientific books, annals, book chapters and patents.
