Perguntas reflexivas, ética e comunicação não violenta para o trabalho com homens autores de violência

The aim of this article is to expand methodological and theoretical possibilities by articulating Tom Andersen’s Reflective Questions, Alan Jenkins’ Invitational Model, which focuses on the parallel journey of becoming ethical, and Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication (NVC), with a view to improving the work of facilitators in reflective groups for male perpetrators of violence. Although there are similarities, it is essential to recognize that these practices have distinct theoretical foundations. NVC is based on empathy and the identification of human needs. Reflective Processes focus on language and internal dialogues. The contributions of the invitational and becoming ethical model emphasize the deconstruction of violent narratives and the construction of alternatives based on responsibility, ethics, and respect. Rosenberg and Jenkins’ approaches seek to promote accountability and questioning of traditional narratives of power, hierarchy and masculinity, while Reflective Processes focus on conversational and dialogical resources.
