Today I had some daisies for breakfast : A graphic novel about Eating Disorders and Recovery

Today I had some daisies for breakfast is a graphic novel about Eating Disorders and Recovery. Through storytelling and illustration, I explore how the vulnerable topic of Eating Disorders can be communicated authentically and educationally. For this, I deconstruct the graphic novel as an artistic medium. Using it as a powerful tool, I combine my research about EDs and my personal insights to shift the narrative through the story. Not only am I a visual communicator, but also a recovered person. I wish to challenge the stigmas around EDs with my project and help those who suffer from or are close to someone with an ED. I want to convey the simple message: Recovery is possible.
