Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación y Logro de Competencias en la Educación Superior

This research is a systematic review using the PRISMA method, which allowed for a comprehensive evaluation of articles in journals indexed in the following databases: Scopus, Scielo, Dialnet, and Eric. This evaluation utilized statistical tools such as Cluster graphs, Dot Plots, Heat Maps, Sankey Charts, Multiple Correspondence Analysis, and Chi-square test. It had a non-experimental cross-sectional design, with a target population of 768 articles that met the inclusion criteria and were subsequently filtered using the PRISMA methodology, resulting in a sample of 40 articles. The results indicate that 58% of the articles used virtual platforms as ICTs; These virtual platforms were also used in quantitative studies where questionnaires were administered. Regarding the achievement of competencies, digital skills and academic empowerment were identified as the most representative, accounting for 35% and 28%, respectively. Likewise, it was determined that most research on digital skills is primarily focused on the Education specialty and used the survey as a collection technique. Finally, the existence of a significant relationship between ICT and the achievement of competencies was determined using the Chi test
