Förbättrad Android applikation för hörseltest

This report focuses on improving a mobile hearing test app based on pure-tone audiometry. The earlier version had several limitations, such as support for only one headphone model, unclear instructions, and no visual feedback after the test. The goal of the project was to make the app easier to use at home, even for people with no prior experience. To address these issues, several new features were added: support for ten common headphone models, an instructional video, and a visual audiogram to display the results. A user test with 15 participants was carried out to evaluate how clear the video instructions were. After watching the video, 13 participants were able to complete the test on their first trial without assistance, resulting in a success rate of 86.7%. The app displays the final test results as audiograms, which users can save and share with their healthcare providers. The project shows that small changes in design and instructions can make a substantial difference in usability.
