Система вправ для розвитку координації рухів пальців рук із використанням графомоторного підходу
This study examined finger movement coordination among preschoolers using a graphomotor approach. The relevance of this study is driven by the necessity of preparing children for school, particularly preparing them for writing. The authors emphasize that a significant number of first-grade students lack sufficiently developed fine motor muscles in their hands and fingers, which complicates the process of acquiring writing skills and may affect their overall learning adaptation. This study analyzes contemporary scientific research on the development of graphomotor skills in children, particularly the concept of emergent literacy; it highlights the importance of the early acquisition of prewriting and prereading skills. This paper reviews the experiences of scientists and educators who have explored the relationship between motor skills, cognitive processes, and writing proficiency. Specifically, the approaches of M. Montessori, V. Sukhomlynskyi, A. Bohush, and other researchers are examined. They emphasized the importance of sensorimotor exercises in preparing children for learning. The study focuses on applying graphomotor exercises that facilitate the development of hand movement coordination and visual-motor integration. Efficient tools, such as tactile boards, sensory trays, contour tracing exercises, and loose materials, are described. Various tactile exercises aimed at developing visual perception, coordination, and spatial orientation are also explored. Particular attention should be given to the neuropsychological aspects of graphomotor skill formation, including the development of interhemispheric interaction, sensory stimulation, and motor control improvement. This study underscores the importance of creating a supportive learning environment that combines playful methods with targeted skill development. The study concludes that the systematic use of graphomotor exercises significantly enhances children's writing readiness, strengthens hand and finger muscles, and improves movement accuracy and fluidity. Future research may further explore the development of new sets of exercises tailored to the individual characteristics of preschool children.
