Поняття та загальна характеристика військової злочинності як наукова і прикладна проблема

The article analyzes the concept and state of war crimes in Ukraine during the special period, which began on March 18, 2014 and is in effect to this day. Attention is focused on the need to strengthen the influence of state authorities in strengthening military discipline among military personnel. To this end, it is necessary to immediately resume the activities of military justice bodies (military prosecutor's office, military courts), urgent adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On Military Police", a draft law on which has been under consideration by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for a long time, strengthening the human resources potential of the investigative units of the State Bureau of Investigation, whose competence currently includes the investigation of military criminal offenses. State authorities must immediately apply the entire range of necessary measures to stabilize and reduce the level of military crime in the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
